Community Event: Afro German Art

On September 20, 2025, we came together at the Galerie der Künstler*innen for the exhibition Afro German Art. Together with the Magazin of Color community, we experienced the diverse works of young Afro-German creatives, shaped by multifaceted depictions of profound stories and perspectives.

The guided group tour not only offered exciting insights into the exhibition, but also created an important space for exchange and networking within the community – including with the Initiative of Black People in Germany, who were present during the same timeslot

The exhibition has now come to a close – you can find more information at www.bbk-muc-obb.de

Many thanks to Kevin Anderson – the curator of AFRO GERMAN ART – and to everyone who helped make this community event such an empowering moment.
